brand identity campaign
This campaign was especially exciting because our client was real - UNL’s College of Journalism and Mass Communications. We were tasked with creating a campaign for their first ever e-sports tournament. We partnered with the copywriting class to create a campaign that includes a poster, an instagram post, and a name tag badge.
Our idea with this campaign was hugely based around the word ‘SMASH!’ For this reason, we had each of our deliverables being SMASHED, whether that is through the paper or through their screen. To promote the inclusiveness of the event, our tagline was “for both pro smashers and button smashers, settle it in smash!” My partner and I had a lot of fun with this design, working with loud colors and experimenting with gamer fonts, all while learning more about e-sports along the way.
